Launched in June 2013, this website delivers daily news and exclusive content concerning the waste and resource management industry. It includes an archive of CIWM Journals and MVO magazines, which is restricted to member access only. The site operates in addition to www.ciwm.co.uk, which remains the main portal for CIWM members to record their continuing professional development and for information on training courses, conferences and industry events. There are links to all CIWM products, services and your personal membership pages in the main menu.
About the CIWM Journal
The CIWM Journal is produced and delivered monthly to all CIWM members and carries news and articles on a wide range of waste and resource management subjects. It is the leading monthly waste and environmental sector publication by circulation and reaches around 18,000 industry professionals every month.
The Journal dates back over 100 years, but in that time its remit has remain unchanged: to inform and educate its readers on the latest industry developments, new technologies and projects, while also keeping them up-to-date on developments within the Institution itself.
The only way to receive the CIWM Journal is to become a member.
MVO magazine (Municipal Vehicle Operator and Plant Review) was introduced in 2008 to cater to the vehicle and plant sector of the waste and resources industry. Its aim is to provide the missing link between manufacturers and operators and it has a significant presence at numerous industry events and is a key partner to the CIWM Business Club. Received by all CIWM members, MVO also has its own its of subscribers in the vehicle, plant and equipment sector.
